Heavenly Family I Met in the Town of Hope

Mexico, where most of its land is mountainous, is dense with many villages along steep hills even in the middle of the mountains. Since its state religion is Catholicism, the majority of people believe it, and people never forget to mention Catholic Churches when choosing tourist attractions in any area of Mexico. However, people are not interested in the words of God, and countless people don’t go to church, disappointed by secularism of the Church.

Despite such difficult environments, I’ve found our heavenly family members full of hope for Heaven in a town called La Esperanza. Interestingly, esperanza means hope in Spanish.

As usual, I was preaching the words of God with Zion members, and a man came and talked to us. Since God told us to deliver His words to people whether they listen or fail to listen, we told them about God the Mother. After a while, his wife came up to us and asked us questions she had had about the Bible and carefully listened to us. The two asked us to come to their house the next day to teach them the words of God more.

The next day, when we visited them, not only the couple but also the woman’s mother prepared a Bible and notebooks and were waiting for us. The next day, the woman’s sister-in-law studied the Bible with us. With the yearning for the truth, they studied the Bible carefully and were all born again as children of God. It hasn’t been long since they received the truth, but they are all enthusiastic for preaching the Gospel to their relatives and acquaintances. I cannot help but look back on myself, ‘Have I ever preached that ardently?’

Before I met this family, I couldn’t boldly preach the words of God, thinking, ‘Would people listen? What if people disturb me when preaching the words of God?’ Rather than relying on God, I depended on my thoughts and situations. I realized that if I participate in the gospel work that God carries out, I will receive great blessings even though I’m lacking in many ways. Now that I have realized it, I’m going to become bold.

In this Town of Hope, there are still many people who long to meet the true God. I will not stop searching for my brothers and sisters until all of them come to Heavenly Mother.
