On May 6, around 150 members from the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group (ASEZ) in the Gangnam area, Seoul, conducted the ASEZ Blue Carbon (ABC) campaign near the river in Han River Park in Gangseo District. Blue carbon refers to the carbon absorbed by marine ecosystems like seas, wetlands, and mangrove forests, and it is gaining attention as a means to improve the climate crisis through carbon neutrality. Despite the rain, the members collected trash, hoping that the river and surrounding ecosystem would be healthy.
