On May 5, more than 50 members of ASEZ, the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group, in Selangor, Malaysia, conducted a cleanup at Westlake Park in Kampar City. Unlike the relatively clean interior of the park, there was a lot of trash around the trash cans and between the lids of the drains. The members collected trash, carefully examining every corner of the park not to miss a place.

On the other hand, they held a campaign to introduce the importance of blue carbon conservation and the ASEZ Blue Carbon (ABC) Movement to raise citizens’ awareness of protecting the marine ecosystems.

Mohd Izham, an official from Kampar District Council, encouraging ASEZ members, saying, “Thank you for inviting me to this activity. This type of activity, which contributes to a better society and environment for others, is commendable.”
