ASEZ Members at Doshisha University in Japan Clean Up Streets Near Gojo Bridge in Kyoto

On January 18, approximately 20 ASEZ members from Doshisha University in Japan and Korea carried out a street cleanup near Gojo Bridge in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto. ASEZ is the Church of God University Student Volunteer Group. Gojo Bridge crosses the Kamo River, which is home to wild birds such as ducks and migratory birds. With trash bags and litter pickers provided by the Shimogyo Ward Office, the members collected various types of litter, including potentially hazardous debris such as steel reinforcing bars. Their efforts helped create a cleaner and safer environment for local residents.
