On July 6, 50 members of ASEZ WAO, the Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group, from the Argentina Córdoba Branch carried out a cleanup activity along the Cruz del Eje riverbank as part of the Blue Ocean (Marine Ecosystem Protection) project. The members collected various types of waste—including tires, PET bottles, and aluminum cans—that had been carelessly discarded along the riverbank. Visitors from various sectors also showed their support. Among them was Pablo Fabián Barrionuevo, Head of the Secretariat of Urban Development and Environment of the Municipality of Cruz del Eje, who expressed his support for ASEZ WAO’s efforts to protect the marine ecosystem and signed a petition.
