On June 27, 100 members from the Southeastern Busan Church Region, including Jin-gu, Nam-gu, and Dong-gu, visited the Igidae Coastal Trail in Nam-gu to carry out the “Erasing Plastic Footprints Campaign” in celebration of Environment Day (June 5). This initiative focused on carbon reduction by collecting plastic waste as part of the “Global Hope Challenge” of the Church of God. On that day, the members collected about 100 kg (220 lbs) of waste, including plastics. Members of the Nam-gu District Council in Busan also participated in the campaign, assisting with the collection of plastic waste.
