The Words of Mother’s Love Seminar Held at the Gumi Church

On January 18, the Words of Mother’s Love Seminar That Brings Peace to Families and Neighbors was held at the Church of God in Gumi, Korea, under the theme “The Art of Happy Communication.” The seminar was organized to promote peace among families and neighbors by encouraging people to practice the language of love through words of gratitude, praise, consideration, and encouragement. About 550 people attended the event, including church members, citizens, and representatives from various sectors in the western Gyeongbuk region, including Gimcheon and Andong.

After watching a video featuring testimonials from participants in the Words of Mother’s Love campaign, presenters introduced the positive effects of Mother’s Words of Love and practical ways to put it into action. Guided by the presenters, attendees shared warm phrases such as “Thank you” and “You’re amazing” with the people who had come with them, filling the venue with smiles and laughter. The seminar concluded with participants reading a Peace Declaration together and singing the campaign theme song.

Kang Dong-hyeong from Chilgok said, “Through this seminar, I learned how to resolve family conflicts and breakdowns in communication. From now on, I will be the first to say ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I love you’ to my parents.” Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council Assemblyman Park Soon-beom expressed his hope, saying, “I hope events that promote a warm culture, like today’s seminar, will continue.”
