The Most Beautiful Fruit in the World
A week after I received the truth, my dad too was blessed with a new life. To raise his three children all alone, my dad, who just farmed in the countryside, moved to a city and did all sorts of hard work like shipyard work and construction work. So when my dad received a new life, I felt great I thought that I gave him a precious gift. However, he didn’t come to worship God fully. He had to take care of household chores due to the absence of my mom, and he didn’t miss any of the fifteen Confucian events held at our house, as the firstborn son like his father and his grandfather. Time passed, and my dad…

In Accordance with God’s Plan
“Have you ever heard about God the Mother?” “Yes!” This was the reply from a lady whom I preached to. I ask this question to whoever I meet. Most Colombians are Catholics and they mistakenly regard Mary the mother of Jesus as Heavenly Mother. I thought she too had the same belief and so asked her again, “Have you heard about the Bride of the Lamb?” “Yes. You mean Heavenly Jerusalem?” I was surprised because the Gospel hadn’t been preached in her village. She said she heard the truth when she was working elsewhere in the previous year. When we met her for the Bible study for the second time and the third time, she showed how clearly she remembered…

Overcoming Prejudice
One day, I was on my way to Zion with a sister to make preparations for the upcoming Sabbath day. Meanwhile, we came across a middle-aged lady waiting for her child in front of an elementary school. We approached her to deliver God’s word, yet thinking, ‘She’ll probably say she doesn’t have time to listen because her child will soon come out.’ Contrary to my expectation, she was willing to listen to God’s word. She fixed her eyes on the Bible. When her child came out of her school, she told her daughter to wait for her in the school for a while and continued to pay attention to our message. Learning about the existence of God the Mother, she…

The Best Vacation
Every summer, my husband and I go for a two-day trip with his hometown friends and their wives. He’s had this trip with his friends for more than thirty years since before marriage. The ten families remember their childhood, traveling together around mountains and seas. My husband and his friends grew up together from childhood, and they spent much time together, raising children. So he had made efforts to preach the truth to his friends. Unfortunately, however, the majority of them were not interested in the truth. This year, we decided to spend our vacation quietly in the hometown. One of his friends, the leader of the gathering, had an operation for cancer; so they decided to support his medical…

My Wish Was Granted
It was always my dream to preach overseas. My dream grew bigger and bitter whenever I heard the fragrance of Zion from young adults of my age that they bore many good fruits by preaching the gospel overseas in the scorching heat or piercing cold. However, the situation was not favorable for me. I was anxious to go overseas, although I didn’t express it. As I tried to console myself, God comforted me with a sermon during worship. After listening to the sermon, I came to realize the fact that God loves me more than I love myself and eagerly wants me to be saved and blessed. My heart was overflowing with gratitude when I realized that the path given…

It Was So Close
Four years ago, the owner of a Chinese restaurant across from our Zion was changed. I wanted to deliver the words of truth to a new neighbor, but since he said he wasn’t interested in religion, I just briefly said hi to him. At the end of 2018, I visited him again after the New Jerusalem Preaching Festival was proclaimed. When he heard the truth, he wasn’t that interested like before, but I continued to see him. I was worried I might disturb his business, so when he wasn’t busy and came out of his restaurant to be refreshed, I just took him to Zion and delivered the truth. We may use the expression, “Many drops make a flood,” in…

Beautiful Steps to Preaching the Blessed News
We conduct a short-term mission every month to establish 300 gospel cities in Malaysia. To seize the blessed opportunity provided by God, many brothers and sisters volunteered, and our team went to Kluang District where the gospel hadn’t been preached at all. We gave thanks to God over and over again for giving us the mission to cultivate the barren land and preach the truth. Kluang District is four and a half hours away from Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. As we had only five days and four nights to preach there, we unpacked as soon as we arrived and went to a crowded place. The people of Kluang District had never heard about the Spirit and the…

For the Establishment of Zion in Hiroshima
In summer 2018, western Japan had a series of disasters. There were lots of victims caused by earthquakes, volcano eruptions, scorching heat, and so on. Particularly, Hiroshima suffered a huge damage by the unprecedented heavy rain. Hiroshima is the largest city in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions in western Japan. As we know, it is also the very first place where an atomic bomb was dropped. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial, which was the only building left among the buildings damaged by the atomic bomb, still has traces of black fallout and radioactivity rain on its outer wall and plainly shows the horrors of the war even after seventy years. In order to establish the kingdom of God in Hiroshima as…

The Best Gift on Mother’s Day
The second Sunday of May is a special day in the Philippines. It is Mother’s Day when all family members gather to express love to their mother. On this day, a family event was going to be held at the Mandaluyong Zion. I wanted to invite my family to this special event. I used to invite my family to many Zion events before, but I was rejected every time. My family didn’t like my going to church. My parents were very sad that I changed my religion without their permission. Their attitude didn’t change for a few years. When I tried to deliver the truth to them, they only listened absentmindedly and showed no interest. I heard the news about…

To the Southernmost Part of Japan
Japan is a long island country with four main islands and countless islands around them. Kyushu is the most southerly among its four main islands. And about two hours by plane from Kyushu, there is a little island called Okinawa in the very southernmost part of Japan. Right now, one deaconess runs a house church where some brothers and sisters are keeping their faith. It’s been a long time since a house church was built in Okinawa, but unfortunately there were only a few members left because many souls who received the truth failed to overcome various trials and temptations, and the deaconess’ children moved out to a different region. It must have been hard for the deaconess, but she…

With Father and Mother’s Protection
Portugal where I stayed for a year for the mission work is a very peaceful place. The people there, living comfortable lives, were not interested in God’s word. However, there were still God’s children among them. One day, I was preaching near a bus stop when a young mom came up to me. She asked me for directions at first, but then she was curious about what we were doing. We told her that we were preaching about God the Mother, and she showed interest by asking us back, “God the Mother?” We opened the Bible right away and showed her the existence of God the Mother. She said that it was very interesting and wanted to learn more about…

People of Amazon Returned into Mother’s Arms
“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” Rev 22:17 The Bible says that whoever wants can receive the water of life that the Spirit and the Bride freely give; however, we had never thought of the natives living deep in the Amazon rainforest; we had such a narrow perspective. In actuality, they were definitely among the 7.8 billion people, and the news of salvation was preached even to indigenous people in Brazil according to God’s prearranged plan. It started with what Brother Ivanildon said. The brother lived with indigenous people and taught them…

In Lambarene Where God Has Opened Wide the Door to the Gospel
The way to Lambarene, a small city in the west, from Libreville the capital of Gabon! After driving for five hours on a rough road unpaved here and there, we arrived in the city and saw houses on both sides of the road and people walking in front of the houses. “Let’s preach the truth to as many people as possible. Let’s save even one more soul before we go back.” Everybody’s heart was burning with fervor. Our short-term mission to Gabon, a distant country from Korea, was truly a worthwhile experience. The people in Lambarene loved the words of the Bible. We had thought they would be cautious about us, Asians, whom they were unfamiliar to, but most of…

Gospel Trumpet Call Resounds in Patna, India, beyond Nepal
The sound of the gospel trumpet blown from Nepal has crossed its border and is resounding powerfully in its neighboring countries like Bhutan and India, and even in the Middle East. Among the Nepalese brothers and sisters who are carrying out their mission as part of world evangelism, several formed a team to establish Zion in Patna which is the central city of Bihar in East India. Patna is the capital city of the state of Bihar, where people’s income is lower than any other states in the vast land of India. Due to its poor living environment and serious public safety issues, even the government finds it hard to manage. What came to our minds while gathering information about…

Do Not Give up to the End
At the end of 2018, we received an abundant blessing of the Holy Spirit through the New Jerusalem Preaching Festival, and went on a short-term mission to Kobe in Japan in the beginning of New Year. On the first day of our short-term mission, we met people who willingly listened to us and made an appointment to meet us the next time. It seemed like it was going smoother than we’d thought, but soon after, it became difficult to do our mission. The response to our preaching at best was “It was interesting to know what I didn’t know in the Bible.” Hardly anyone related the word of God to his own life. Over a week or two, we gradually…

Where We Are Headed Is the Starting Point
I went on a long-term mission to a region I had been to on a short-term mission previously. I was busy, taking care of the members I had led to Zion before, and as a result, I didn’t have time to recollect my old memories. I was embarrassed of myself because my gospel goals were only about increasing the number of fruits. With a resolution to please Heavenly Father and Mother by finding gospel workers who would undertake the gospel mission, I walked over an hour every day to get to new places for preaching. Since our brothers and sisters had diligently preached there, many people had already heard about the Sabbath and the Passover. However, they did not want…

A Small Change, a Great Blessing
People say that the darkest hour of the day is right before sunrise. My life before meeting God was like that. While I was experiencing many things after having a baby, my self-esteem took a hit, and I felt depressed every day. Even after moving to Jejudo Island which is my hometown, I felt like I was all alone in the middle of the desert. The words of the Bible, which I learned for the first time through the members of the Church of God, were like a streak of light. Seeing how the prophecies of the Bible had been fulfilled without missing a bit, I was convinced that God exists, and I was overjoyed, comforted, and moved by the…

Following Father’s Path
I am a newly appointed missionary to India; it’s been just three months since I came here. I thought I had many experiences in overseas missions, but since I came to India, I’ve often thought I am like a child who flounders around, not knowing what to do. While staying in the Hubli Church during the preaching festival, I sincerely realized that God had sent me to India to train me to be a suitable prophet for the gospel. I’ve engraved on my heart the realization I received through this trip, and I am writing to share it with Zion members around the world. It takes more than twelve hours to travel from Pune to Hubli. In India, this distance…

Without Losing a Single Soul
About a month after I moved to Syracuse, I needed to go to a hair salon, and so I looked for a Korean hair salon in my neighborhood on the Internet. Happily, there was one that opened a year before, not that far from my place. I made a reservation by phone and went there the next morning. Although I arrived on time, the hairdresser was not there. Her husband asked me to wait, apologizing, and brought his wife a while later. While she was doing my hair, we talked about things and the church. She asked me which church I went to. “Have you heard about the Church of God by any chance? I attend the Church of God.”…

The Flower of Unity Blooms in the Frozen Land of Eastern Europe
Starting the year 2019, Mother blessed us, saying, “If you unite, the gospel in Europe will go well.” Now that a year has passed, I feel that Mother’s words are being exactly fulfilled in Eastern Europe. Last spring, I was carrying out a mission as a prophet in Korea; then I came to Czech Republic in Eastern Europe. The barrier to the gospel in Europe seemed very high at that time. My heart ached when I saw people try to argue with us with their own knowledge and logic rather than try to learn about the word of God, and on the other hand I was thankful and sorry to the Korean members who stayed in Czech Republic for a…
