Church of God Wins the 2026 Chosun Future Architecture Award

The World Mission Society Church of God in Homaesil, Suwon, Korea, has been honored with the Grand Prize in the Religious Facilities Category at the 2026 Chosun Future Architecture Awards. The award ceremony was held on November 27 at the Koreana Hotel in Seoul, where General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol received the award on behalf of the church. Happy Concert With Neighbors Held in Gwangju, Yeongcheon, and Changwon

As autumn deepened with falling leaves and widening temperature swings, a concert brought warmth to the hearts of local residents. On October 26, the “Happy Concert With Neighbors” was held at the Church of God in Gwangju Seogu, Yeongcheon, and Changwon Uichang. Dedication Services for the Churches in Yesan, Pyeongtaek Godeok, Incheon Dong-gu, and Incheon Songdo, Korea

Ahead of the autumn festivals, the season of abundant gospel harvest, dedication worship services were held at four Churches of God located in Yesan (South Chungcheong Province), Pyeongtaek Godeok (Gyeonggi Province), and Incheon Dong-gu and Songdo (Incheon Metropolitan City). Churches in Gyeongnam, Honam, and Gyeonggi Provinces Carry Out Flood Emergency Relief

Following an extended dry monsoon period and persistent drought, sudden heavy rains swept across various parts of South Korea from July 16 to 20. During this period, Sancheong County in South Gyeongsang Province recorded 632 millimeters of rainfall, leading to a rapid rise in river levels. The swollen rivers overflowed, flooding roads and homes. Landslides also occurred, causing significant damage to residential and commercial properties and resulting in casualties. In response, starting on July 20, about 1,700 volunteers from the Church of God visited severely flood-affected areas over eight days to assist with recovery efforts. A special event was held to uplift the weary shoulders of workers. On April 16, a “Seminar for Workers” took place at the Church of God locations in Cheongcheon, Incheon; Wonju; and Uichang, Changwon. Dedication Service of Namyang Church in Hwaseong

On March 11, about a month before the Passover, the dedication service of Namyang Church in Hwaseong was held alongside the Third Day worship. Located in Namyang-eup, home to the Hwasung Special City Hall, the church stands in a key area in the western part of Hwasung—a city even larger in area than Seoul. Support for Wildfire Victims and First Responders in Los Angeles County, U.S.

As the new year began, devastating wildfires broke out across Los Angeles County, California, bringing tragedy and hardship to many communities. On January 7, three separate wildfires erupted in areas including Pacific Palisades and Sylmar, driven by strong winds that intensified the blaze. The fires burned for more than three weeks, destroying over 18,000 buildings and displacing nearly 200,000 people. In response, members of the World Mission Society Church of God in California mobilized to support their neighbors. To console the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster on December 29, members from the Gwangju–Honam region organized a free meal service. Earthquake Recovery in Noto, Ishikawa, Japan

On June 30, more than 60 members from various regions in Japan, including Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, and Nagoya, gathered in the Noto area of Ishikawa. It is to help the local residents affected by the devastating earthquake that struck on January 1, measuring 7.6 in magnitude. Immediately following the earthquake, recovery efforts were delayed due to the risk of further collapses, and the government did not grant permission for volunteer involvement. However, on the last weekend of June, when civilian relief efforts were finally permitted, volunteers from the Church of God arrived to lend a helping hand.
