The Gospel Work Advances According to God’s Plan

God gives us the courage to always be bold; however, when we encounter a difficult situation while preaching the gospel, we are sometimes seized with fear and become like a deer caught in the headlights of a car. God tells us, “Do not fear, for I am with you” (Isa 41:10). Although we hear these words of God, sometimes we only focus on our immediate situation, instead of the internal aspects of our faith. If those who preach the truth choose to hesitate or hold back, the gospel work cannot be accomplished. We need to realize how great our God is and believe firmly that God Himself is leading the work of the gospel. Only then can we have confidence…

The Born-Again People

Recently we have been hearing the joyful news that our members in Zion all around the world are realizing the importance of repentance and achieving beautiful unity. According to Heavenly Mother’s example and teachings, many of our brothers and sisters have renewed their determination to live a life of repentance, apologizing first and being reconciled to one another in tears. They say to each other, “I’m sorry, please forgive me.” These words deeply resonate in our hearts. God has promised that as the Kingdom of Heaven draws closer, He will remove our heart of stone and give us a heart of flesh, enabling us to become united in heart and mind (Eze 36:24–27). I’m sure that God must be pleased…

The Gospel Can Only Be Accomplished Through Blessings

While retracing all of our steps in the gospel, I found a shared commonality among all of the churches that obtained good results: Although each of them was in unfavorable circumstances, they moved God through their mindset and actions, which were deserving of God’s blessings. If we fail to receive God’s blessings, we cannot take even one step forward in the gospel. This is because the work of salvation can only be achieved by Heavenly Father and Mother, who are the source of all blessings. There is nothing that can be done without Them. I am sure that a blissful future will unfold before us, under the blessings of Heavenly Mother. Let us learn what we should do in order…

The Path of Life and Heavenly Mother

A path naturally appears as the result of someone consistently walking the same way toward their destination. Originally, there was no path; however, once someone begins to continually walk the same way without swerving to the right or to the left, a path is gradually created, enabling many other people to travel on it. It is the same spiritually. There are only two paths our souls can choose between and follow. One of these paths is the path to Heaven, which has been made by God’s journey between Heaven and Earth for our salvation. The other path is the path to hell, which has been paved by Satan and his followers dragging many souls to hell, after coming to this…

Gospel Preaching and the Salvation of Mankind

God has come to this earth to save all of His lost children from Heaven. He does not want anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance and salvation. God has told His beloved children to preach the gospel to the entire world, in order for everyone in the world to have an opportunity to receive salvation. Our brothers and sisters in Zion throughout the world are firmly determined to preach God’s word to all people in obedience to God’s holy will. They are working hard together with one mind toward this goal. It is certainly not easy to preach the gospel to everyone in the world. Throughout the process, we may encounter numerous obstacles and a variety of…

The Greatest Work

There are a variety of different types of tasks and jobs around the world. Among all of them, there have been many great works which benefit people, awaken the spirit of the age within them, and deserve to be recorded in history for all time. Then, what is the greatest type of work? God is indeed great. Everything that our great God manages and conducts is definitely great as well. God has entrusted us with one of His greatest works. It is to “preach the gospel to all nations of the world” (Mt 24:14). Everything in this world has its own meaning and value; however, all of its splendor only lasts for a little while before it vanishes forever. On…

God Is With Us Wherever We Go

Our brothers and sisters are now bringing the joyful news that many souls are returning to the arms of God. This spiritual victory is being accomplished wherever they shine the light of Jerusalem’s glory, believing that the gospel of the kingdom will surely be preached to all people in the world. When we are obedient to God’s holy will, He helps us in everything we do, and prepares the path of glory for us, enabling us to be victorious. God has promised to be with us wherever we go, and He has told us to preach the gospel fully and fearlessly. I hope you will all bear abundant fruit by quickly preaching the gospel to Samaria and even to the…

World Evangelism and Mother’s Support

We all miss our spiritual home Heaven and long to go there, because it is a place full of happiness. In order to go to Heaven, we need to walk on the right path during our life on this earth. The Israelites were only able to reach Canaan after walking for forty years in the wilderness. In the same way, we can only reach Heaven after walking the path of faith in the spiritual desert. This is the same path that Father has walked and that Mother is still walking to this day. We have been cast down to this earth because of our sins. God allows us to go through a process called “preaching” on our journey back to…

The Easy Path and the Right Path

We must all face the choice between the easy path and the right path while living in this world. During the Japanese colonial rule over Korea, some people chose to live an easy, comfortable life, but some chose the right path and devoted their whole life to the struggle for their country’s independence. According to their choices, they lived completely different lives and ended up with totally different outcomes; the former were branded as traitors, and the latter were hailed as the Korean independence activists, with their names honored for future generations. It is the same for our life of faith. We have the choice to follow the easy path or the right path. Until now, we have chosen to…

According to My Will and According to Father’s Will

People are under the impression that they can do everything by themselves. In actuality, they can do nothing without God’s help. If God does not give us rain when the farmland is parched and cracked like a turtle’s shell, who on earth can provide such a huge amount of water to all of the mountains and fields? Although a man may have much knowledge, skill and experience in farming, he cannot grow a single crop if it doesn’t rain. Considering this fact, we can realize yet again that our God is truly great because He has created every kind of plant and tree, while simultaneously providing everything they need in order to grow. It seems that we have taken the…

The Tears of Mary

In Matthew, God is described as “our Father” (Mt 6:9). In Galatians, God is referred to as “our Mother” (Gal 4:26). In 2 Corinthians, we are called God’s sons and daughters (2 Co 6:18). When we put all of these words in the Bible together, we can see that we are the children of Heaven and members of the heavenly family who have God as our Father and Mother. Unfortunately, we do not remember this fact because we have been cast down to this earth as a result of committing sin in Heaven. It is very difficult for us to remember what happened in the spiritual world because we are living in a three-dimensional world. The words “our Father and…

The Commemoration Day of the Creator and the Commemoration Day of the Redeemer

You can easily know which country a person belongs to, when you see the kind of days that the person commemorates. If that person celebrates Independence Day on August 15 and observes Hangul Day [Korean Alphabet Day] on October 9, what country is that person from? If someone celebrates Independence Day on July 4, which country does that person belong to? We can easily figure out that the former is Korean and the latter is American. Likewise, we can easily tell what kind of people belong to the Kingdom of God, through the commemoration days God has established. Nowadays, there are numerous churches like the sand on the seashore. We need to find out if they observe the commemoration day…

The Trumpet Sound of Prophecy

The Bible has already predicted how the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven will make progress and be accomplished. God has written everything in the Bible, including the things that are to take place in this age and the processes that we must pass through until we go to Heaven. When we examine them one by one, we can find God’s predestined will that is wonderful. Then, what prophecy remains to be fulfilled and what should we do now? Father Ahnsahnghong said, “Soldiers move to the sound of the trumpet, and believers move to the sound of prophecy.” Keeping the words of Father deep in mind, we should pay attention to the trumpet sound of prophecy and put God’s laws…

The Meaning of the Day of Atonement

The Sabbath and the Seven Feasts in Three Times hold great significance for the salvation of mankind; they are not simply part of the Old Testament law. God saves the people of Zion who keep the feasts; He calls the people, who made a covenant with Him by sacrifice (worship) at the feasts, His consecrated ones (Isa 33:20–24; Ps 50:1–5). In the last days, God will gather His children who endure hardships in order to keep the feasts. They will be given praise and honor among all the peoples of the earth (Zep 3:14–20). Those who keep the feasts of God, cherishing God’s laws, decrees, and regulations, will receive blessings and glory according to God’s promises in the Bible. Among…

The Passover and the Blood of Christ

The Passover is a joyful feast where we receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life as well as the promise of being the children of God. On the other hand, however, it is a day to commemorate the death of Christ. Since Christ died for us, sinners, we have been freed from the agony of death and received life. So, the Passover is a feast of joy and sorrow as well. We have been saved through the sacrifice of God who shed His blood, carrying our sins on our behalf. As God’s children, we must not think lightly of God’s saving grace that we have received freely, but we should keep in mind again the meaning of God’s holy…

Seek Me

God told people to “seek me.” To seek God, we must know about Him. Through all the clues from the Bible, we need to find out where God dwells and what truth He brings when He comes to this earth. Only then can we find God and receive Him properly. God has come to this earth, but many churches in the world do not yet know God or seek Him. If the Bible says God dwells in Zion, we must find out what Zion refers to, and if the Bible says God proclaims the truth of the New Covenant in Zion, we must find the One who establishes the New Covenant (Isa 33:20–22; Mic 4:1–2). If the Bible tells us…

God Wants Us to Be Blessed in the End

In our life of faith, we are carrying out many commandments and teachings God has given us. It’s because we believe that every path God leads us on is a path of blessing for us. In the Bible, there are things God commands us to do and there are also things God tells us not to do. When God commands us to do something, we must do it, and when God tells us not to do something, we must not do it. This is the way for us to be blessed, right? We may not fully understand it now, but if we follow God obediently, we can receive all the blessings God has prepared for us. Let’s examine the will…

Commandment and Rebellion

Rebellion generally means an act of disobeying a king’s direction of ruling or his policy and plotting against him. In the spiritual world, rebellion is disobedience to the commandments of God—our King. Those who keep God’s commandments stand on God’s side, and they never rebel against God. That’s why the Bible tells us that the people who stand on God’s side in spiritual warfare in the last days are the “rest of the woman’s offspring” and “those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus” (Rev 12:17). Now, let’s take some time to understand the relationship between God’s commandments and rebellion correctly and to engrave the importance of God’s decrees, regulations, and laws deep in our hearts.…

The Invisible World and True Faith

Faith is essential to salvation. The Bible clearly states that people without faith cannot be saved. It’s because only those who have faith can obey God’s word and keep the commandments and decrees that God has established for our salvation. God created the visible and invisible worlds. The world of faith is also invisible, so there is no way to know whether our faith is big or small in ordinary times. Through the teachings of the Bible, let’s find out when and how our faith is revealed and what kind of faith we should have. Test and examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith Everyone may have conducted an experiment to test whether a substance is acidic…

The One Who Wants to Wear the Crown Must Bear Its Weight

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has conceived the Kingdom of Heaven God has prepared for His children. However, the way to Heaven is not a smooth paved way. It would be good if we could go to Heaven easily, without any difficulty. On this path, however, there are big barriers that stop us and obstacles that are beyond our control. It was the same with the members of the early Church, including the apostles, who preached the gospel in obedience to Christ’s command. They walked the path of faith under hardship and persecution; it was not a smooth, easy path. Why did God allow His beloved children to walk the rough path instead of…
