Assist in the Gospel Work
Penedo is a small town in the State of Alagoas, Brazil. In Penedo of which the population is less than seventy thousand, people spend time at home because it is difficult to get a job. Maybe because they have time, when we say that we are delivering God’s word, they willingly listen but don’t accept it easily. Despite the truth, they feel a sense of burden to change their church which they have attended for a long time. When we were about to be exhausted without leading anyone to Zion for a few months, we heard about the New Jerusalem Preaching Festival. Although my husband and me were the only members, we decided to enjoy the festival and started to…

In Baton Rouge Where the Prophecy Is Fulfilled
It’s been almost a year since my husband and I came to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, U.S. It would be a lie if I say we did not have any fear to come to this spiritually dry and desolate land, where the gospel had not been preached yet. Just as always, however, God was with us in this city, too. I realize the power of God once again, seeing the brothers and sisters revive through the water of life within a short time. Before we came here, one Korean sister had been preaching the gospel alone for five years. She was busy managing a gas station, but preached to her customers, regarding her workplace as the field of the gospel. Some…

Time of Learning and Being Filled
After becoming a young adult, I got to know the warmth of Zion, attending gatherings full of love of leading sisters. One day, we watched a video and shared fragrances of Zion with the members. One sister shed tears, saying that she was thankful and sorry to Mother for sacrificing Herself for us. I too cried. I didn’t know why but I was touched by the sister who repented wholeheartedly and at the same time felt ashamed of myself for not paying attention to the precious words of God during worship services. Soon afterwards, I tried to change and be born again. Unlike in my student days when I used to go home right after a service, not wanting anyone…

To Seek Souls More Precious than Pure Gold
By God’s grace, our Kota Kinabalu Zion was blessed to have the very first short-term mission in 2017. The first trip was to Paparand in February and the second trip was to Tuaran in March. Paparand is one of the districts in Sabah. Preaching in Paparand was my biggest hope after I received the truth several years ago because this is my hometown. Just as the Bible prophesied that the gospel of the kingdom would be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations (Mt 24:14), now is the time for the prophecy to be fulfilled, and what made me amazed most was that God chose me to join this short-term mission. Heavenly Mother had blessed us…

Fruit of Patience Borne in Chana
The Bhopal Zion is blessed with many young adults, thanks to Heavenly Mother who prays day and night for Her children. Under the consideration of male and female adult members, we can only focus on preaching and welcoming new brothers and sisters. That’s why we value each other all the more. When we gathered to preach, we earnestly asked Heavenly Father and Mother to let us fulfill the gospel mission. Father and Mother heard our prayer and blessed us to bear many precious souls. Among them is Sister Sushilla. At first, it was difficult for her to accept Heavenly Mother, but when she read Galatians 4:26 that reads, “The Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother,”…

I Have Finally Met the Truth
Sister Jayshree is a nurse. Whenever she has a chance, she preaches the gospel to the patients who come to her hospital. Among them, there were a pastor and his wife who came to her hospital from the countryside for their sick child. They were from Naydongri, four hours away from Nashik by train. The pastor and his wife were startled by the word of God and asked the sister to come to their house and deliver the words to them more. It was a great suggestion, but it wasn’t easy to go visit them right away due to the distance and circumstances. It took us a month to visit them. We formed a small short-term mission team and took…

Following Father’s Sacrificial Path for Seven Days
Having received the Holy Spirit of the latter rain on the Day of Pentecost, the Denver Zion formed a short-term mission team to participate in establishing God’s realm throughout the world. The brothers and sisters who volunteered for it prepared in a hurry to leave a week later. The areas to preach were Duluth and Rochester in the state of Minnesota, where there aren’t many Zions yet. Duluth was about one day away from Denver, and Rochester was four hours further from Duluth. Our schedule was going to be tight due to the distance. We planned to leave Sabbath day evening, arrive there Sunday evening, preach the gospel for two days from Monday till Tuesday afternoon, keep the Third-day service…

So That There Won’t Be Any Soul Who Doesn’t Believe Because He Hasn’t Heard
“Have you heard about God the Mother?” “No. No one in my church has taught me the Bible. I want to learn it.” Everybody we meet says that they haven’t heard about Heavenly Mother. Santa Cruz is the capital of the Province of Laguna, where we can reach by traveling meandering mountain paths for about three hours from Manila, the capital of the Philippines. There, we met so many people who gave ear to the word of God. We, seven in all, flew to the Philippines to contribute to the movement to preach to seven billion people. Here, we offered prayers of thanks to God again and again for giving us an opportunity to preach the gospel to our hearts’…

Blessings Given to Those Who Believe and Do
A plan for short-term mission was made for Chachapoyas, a city with a population of about 40,000 in Amazonas Region, Peru. Thirty-eight volunteers were grouped into four different teams, and each team was to preach for fifteen days. Before starting to preach, we made a resolution to complete the mission, fully depending on Heavenly Father and Mother, and we asked God for help with one mind. Then, two assistant overseers went there a few days before the first team took off, to look for a proper building to be used as a branch church and for the areas to preach. Even in Lima, which is a big city, it takes about three to four months to get a big house.…

Finding Gospel Workers
Having the short-term mission to Keningau in Malaysia ahead, I was hoping many brothers and sisters would be found, so that Zion could be established and the gospel would spread more and more. Heavenly Mother gave us the words of blessing: “Find gospel workers who are healthy both physically and spiritually and build a house church.” Our short-term mission team left for Keningau in East Malaysia with great expectation of fulfilling Mother’s words. There was no direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Keningau, so we had to fly to Kota Kinabalu first and then drive to Keningau which is about 100 km [62 miles] away from Kota Kinabalu. Throughout the three-hour journey on the serpentine and steep mountain road, we…

Finding Our Brothers and Sisters Appointed for Eternal Life
On my way with a sister to do something, my eyes met a lady’s eyes. We stopped at her unexpected question. “Are you preaching?” She seemed longing for our truth. We stopped everything and started talking with her. She seemed very curious, when we told her that we were from the Church of God and that we were preaching about Heavenly Mother. Even her husband, who was repairing their house, seemed interested, so we began to let them know the Bible on the spot. Both of them were very amazed when they understood about the existence of Heavenly Mother, the importance of the Passover, and the blessing of the Sabbath day, which are the secrets of the Bible. They said…

The Best Choice That I’ve Ever Made in My Life
It has been three years since I became a child of God. So far, I’ve preached the truth to my family, wishing to share the heavenly blessing with them. Though it was hard, I didn’t give up and prayed to God day after day, asking to save all of my family members. During the last prayer week of the autumn feast, my prayer became even more earnest. I have a nephew whom I raised from his childhood. He is now working in Macao. He used to attend our church events like the “Our Mother” Writing & Photo Exhibition, and studied the Bible when he was in Korea. I wanted my nephew, who is like my own child, to stay in…

The Work of Salvation Is Carried Out by God
There was a shop owner whom I had delivered the word of God to, from the previous year. It had been a long time since my last visit. I went to the shop again to meet the owner, but only to find that it was replaced by a new mobile phone store. Now that I was there for preaching, I entered the store to deliver the word of God. The store owner looked at me as if he was wondering what brought me there. I told him that I came from a nearby church and I gave him a newspaper and a souvenir which was made to celebrate receiving the U.K. Queen’s Award. He didn’t seem to like the preaching…

The Reason for Giving Me the Mission to Teach
It was the day when I went out to preach with my wife. When we told a lady passing by that we wanted to tell her about God the Mother who is testified in the Bible, she didn’t want to listen. When we asked her again, saying, “This message is very important,” then she stopped walking. As soon as I opened the Bible, her eyes were opened wide. Seeing the Spirit and the Bride who give the water of life in the book of Revelation, she asked us, “Who is the Bride who gives us the water of life?” before we explained. When we told her that the Bride is Heavenly Jerusalem, she asked us back, “Then who is Heavenly…

True Filial Duty Starts from Understanding
Whenever I read a Bible verse, “Anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me” (Mk 8:34), I was reminded of my family. My father, who received a pastoral education in a Protestant church in his youth, opposed my faith when I said I attended the Church of God. Even my mom, who wasn’t interested in religion, stood on my father’s side; an invisible wall was built between my parents and me. When I was about to get married, there was a change. To prepare for the wedding, I had to talk with my parents frequently. While conversing with them, I realized that I had mistaken my parents; I felt through their words how…

Time to Reap Wheat
I work at the office of a construction site, where there is a laboratory to measure the solidity of cement. Earlier this year, we had a new director who is in charge of the lab. From the first day, I noticed that the new director was different from others. Although an employee from a cleaning company comes to clean our office, but he himself cleans the lab of 1,500 square feet by himself, worrying that it’s hard for the employee to clean two floors alone. Even though he can give instructions to his subordinates, he is humble to them and kind to clients. I truly wanted to deliver the word of God to the director. When I started to talk…

Even One Seed with All My Heart
My heart is only filled with hope for heaven now. It’s because earnestness and the sense of mission which I didn’t have before have filled me. It’s already been more than half a year since I came to Australia. I remember the day I preached the gospel here for the first time. I couldn’t express what I wanted to say because of my poor English, and couldn’t understand what they were speaking. Just following the brothers and sisters, I was surprised that people at the malls or on campus or some other places would listen to the words of the Bible for thirty minutes or even for an hour. Is this how Peter felt when Jesus made him a fisher…

When I Am Weak, Then I Am Strong
Palmerston North is a small city in the North Island of New Zealand. This city is full of youth and enthusiasm, and when I stepped foot here, my heart was beating fast with excitement. God opened the way for the gospel work to begin in Palmerston North, so I was confident that heavenly family members would be here. On the other hand, I felt Mother’s anxious heart of seeking Her children, which also made me feel the urgency to seek my lost brothers and sisters. We knew that we cannot do the gospel work only with our earnestness. It is not an exaggeration to say that living the life that depends on God thoroughly is a fight with myself day…

Happy Workplace
One of my acquaintances helped me search for a job. I liked my new job because I already knew someone there and colleagues seemed nice. Since I was there to work, I thought I might as well do my best, and paid attention to even the things I didn’t have to. But strangely enough, I felt happier than tired though the work was not easy. While working until late at night, my eyes hurt and I felt tired, but I was excited while cleaning and was just happy even when someone said something not so pleasant to hear. Soon after, one of our Zion members started working here as well, and the atmosphere of my workplace became much brighter. I…

A Fruit Taught Me Patience
I went out to preach the gospel at Osasco Center and met a lady near the subway station. She lived in Itapevi, about an hour and a half away by car from Osasco. She had visited many churches, but she had not attended any of them because no one taught her the Bible correctly. When she heard the truth about God the Mother, she was very interested and said, “It is testified in the Bible so clearly, but how come no one taught me this until now?” She wanted to know more about the Bible and to meet again on Sunday. A few days later, I headed for Itapevi to meet her as we had agreed. I took the train…
