8th ASEZ WAO Street Campaign
On March 22, World Water Day, ASEZ WAO (Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group) carried out the 8th ASEZ WAO Street Campaign. Fifty ASEZ WAO activists conducted campaigns to promote the preservation of water resources and marine ecosystems at Kant’s Walking Trail along Yangjaecheon Stream in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and at Mud Square of Daecheon Beach in Boryeong. “Activists” refers to selected ASEZ WAO members who receive professional environmental education and carry out environmental activities. ASEZ members in the Hyderabad region of India took the lead in raising awareness about the seriousness of plastic pollution and its impact on climate change. From February 23 to March 1, the ASEZ Green Concert for a Plastic-Free India was held across various parts of Hyderabad, Telangana. The events were conducted at five major locations, including the Shilpakala Vedhika Convention Center, Osmania University, and the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat. Cultivating consideration, cooperation, environmental awareness, and altruism is just as important as acquiring knowledge and technical skills. The Church of God’s “Winter Student Camp · Elementary Winter Vacation Camp 2026,” designed to help elementary, middle, and high school students develop upright character through a variety of programs, was held from early January to late February. On February 25, ASEZ WAO (Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group) held the 18th ASEZ WAO Environmental Seminar at the small theater of the Geumcheon-gu Community Culture and Sports Center in Seoul. Under the theme of the Green Workplace Project, which promotes eco-friendly activities in the workplace, the seminar provided an opportunity for participants to recognize the role of office workers amid the climate crisis and learn practical response measures. As new temples continue to be established across Korea, dedication services have carried on into 2026. On February 20, a dedication service was held for the Church of God in Woongsang, Yangsan. This was followed by services for the Churches of God in Yulha, Gimhae, and Miryang on February 22. Members from across the Gyeongnam region, including these three cities, gathered together to share in the joy of these meaningful occasions. The 24th Melchizedek Literary Award Ceremony
On January 25, the 24th Melchizedek Literary Award Ceremony was held in the seminar room of the New Jerusalem Pangyo Temple. The Melchizedek Literary Award is a literary contest that discovers writer-prophets who convey the gospel of the new covenant and the love of God Elohim to the world through writings inspired by the Holy Spirit.
